Starting as an intern six years ago, Jerryl Smeenk climbed up the ladder at FC Utrecht and is now Coordinator of all Data and Marketing affairs at the Dutch Premier League club. Besides that, Smeenk is also in charge of the Ticketing department.

By using data insights for segmentated marketing campaigns, FC Utrecht established a major growth over the last few years. Attendances have been going up from about 14,000 to 18,500, despite most of the league’s clubs seeing attendances drop.
